Since everyone knows someone like that, with the incredible ability to push the right buttons and ruin a good day, I actually made a very gereric character :T

Hiatus #3

Well guys, after almost 3 months without any activity I ended up coming back
Again.
If you are one of the few people who enjoy reading my comics, I ask for your apologies.

Part of the inactivity was due work, since I'm raising some money to travel to hungary, where I'm going to represent Brazil during teh World Bowhunter Championship (a kind of archery competition that simmulates a hunting condition), I had to give priority to work.
And the I got deadlines problems,
And then I lost my motivation.

But now, thanks to the Inktober challenge (if you're curious, you can see the drawings here) and some friends I got my motivation back.

And Yeah...... part of my inactivity was also due the fact that I went back on playing Team Fortress 2....

Plus, since I could use some extra money, I'm open to comissions.

There's still a lot that I need to improve regarding my drawings and sadly this story broke a little the flow of SketchesHQ.
Since I'm still planning on making long closed storyes, I'm trying to come up with a good solution that won't interrupt the comic strips.

Maybe in a not so far future I might re-do the drawings....

If  you haven't seen either the manga or the anime of Fullmetal Alchemist and or Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood you are going to stumble upon a spoiler, ahead.

I would like to be able to say that I have a noble reason behing this story, but sadly I don't. I was only watching the anime, and during the funeral of Hughes I started to wonder a little about death and how it might be scary to pass away and don't be able to see a person who you love in the other side.

So, I liked the "script" and here it is...

I'm near to have a nervous meltdown after receiving that info, but IM SO FEARCKING EXCITEHAKBSDMSBDCHJVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And YES! I'll bet at Gibicon (A Comic Convention that will take place in Curitiba, Brazil)

I'll be taking some workshops and walking around and going to lots of stuffs and buying comics and taking autographs and stuffs!

There's a chance to finnding me walking around there, on near the stand of the RD Aqueria.

And YES! I plan to go wearing a costume on Saturday or Sunday (haven't decided yet)
And I bet that I'll be the only crazy person carrying a bow :T

Webcomic 06

Since I couldn't find a proper name for this comic, I decided to name it "webcomic *insert number here*", a resource that I'll be using when I ended up having a hard time to find a suitable name.

And yes, Life is a real bitch, specially for people like me, who manage to creat expectations and get easily excited with some situations :T

I need more time!

Guys, forgive me for the lack of activity on the past few weeks.

I'm doing my best here, but things are a little bit crazy at work and since I'm planning on representing Brazil ate the World Bouwhunter (an archery modality) on 2015, I've started to exercice and practice a lot.

With that in mind I kinda negleted the comics a little bit and yes, I actually feel bad for not posting them...
But I'm doing my very best to finish and post the back, since I actually enjoy making them and hope to one day have my table at the Artist's Alley, at Comic Con.

How to catch a cat

Q: "Hey, Juli, why haven't you done something related to the FIFA world cup?
A: "I was really planning on doing that. But in the end I came to a conclusion that I would be like one of those boring persons saying "Hei! remember the time when Brazil lost of 7x1 to Germany? It was so funny!"
Another reason why is that the internet is still flooding whith all shorts os jokes about it. 

Now, back to the comic strip:
It doensn't matter if you are a cat, a young adult anthro jaguar, or an international spy doing a solo mission. You see a box, you get inside a box.

Now, I'm going to leave you guys with my favourite radio conversation from Metal Gear Solid 3; Snake Eater.

Sigint: Uh, Snake... What are you doing?

Snake: I'm in a box.

Sigint: A cardboard box? Why are you...?

Snake: I dunno. I was just looking at it and I suddenly got this urge to get inside. No, not just an urge—more than that. It was my destiny to be here; in the box.

Sigint: Destiny...?

Snake: Yeah. And then when I put it on, I suddenly got this feeling of inner peace. I can't put it into words. I feel... safe. Like this is where I was meant to be. Like I'd found the key to true happiness.

Sigint: ...

Snake: Does any of that make sense?

Sigint: Not even a little.

Snake: You should come inside the box... Then you'll know what I mean.

Final Whistle

This was a comissioned comic, wich was printed and distributed during the FIFA World Cup of 2014.
Not quite sure if some of my followers managed to come across them...

It would be nice to know.

For some reason that I always forget, the valentines day is celebrated in June12th, in Brazil.

And that's how I usually spend this day.

Ranger's Journal - Birds

This actually happened to me, while I was taking part into the SAFAC (South American Field Archery Competition), on 2013.

I've never felt so bad for missing a target before...

None bird was hurt during the competition.

They were only scared.
And a lot...

Carnaval, 2014

And that's how I usually spend my carnaval; locked inside the bedroom with either a videogame or a movie marathon.

I wasn't sure about buying The last of us, but I've seen so many positive reviews and Ellie. So, I rented the game.
And now I regret no buying it....

And yes, I hate carnaval and managed to stay away from anything related to it.
And NO, Julia wasn't going to stab Juba; she's just getting herself ready in any case of a clicker... "infestation".

Preventive mammography

So, on the begining of this month, the wonderful a marvelous govern of Brazil had another great idea. They made a note that women who is under the age of 49 (if I'm not mistaken) and wants to take the preventive mammography have to choose wich breast to be examined.
